As part of Celebrate!250, UVA Community Credit Union has partnered with the City of Charlottesville, the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP), and Charlottesville Gas to sponsor Energize!250 Charlottesville. The campaign is seeking 250 City of Charlottesville homeowners by year end to conduct home energy reviews and pledge to reduce their home energy usage by 10%.

UVA Community Credit Union is one of only eighteen national, regional and local lenders selected by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to participate in the PowerSaver Loan Program, a two-year pilot program offering low-cost financing for energy-efficient home improvements.
