Don't settle for a one-size-fits-all business checking account! At UVA Community Credit Union, you can choose from one of three types of checking accounts, based on your specific needs.
Your checking account is the financial foundation for your business. If you generally have fewer than 150 branch transactions* per month, Business Economy checking will provide the best value. You can open an economy checking account with just $100 and there is no minimum monthly balance requirement. However, when you maintain at least $1,000 in your account, your business will earn dividends on your average daily balance.

A Business Plus Checking account gives you all the features of an Economy Business Checking account plus 150 more free transactions* and fewer restrictions on your coin and currency deposits. The UVA Community Credit Union Business Plus Account is ideal for businesses that process between 150 and 300 branch transactions* per month and can maintain a minimum balance of $3,000.
A Business Analysis Checking account is designed for businesses with a high volume of transactions. If you regularly have more than 300 transactions per month, this may be the best account for your business. There are no monthly average daily balances and service charges can be offset by an earnings credit or debited directly from your account.
Simplify your payments with online bill pay and monitor your statements with E-statements and online check images. If you also have a personal account at UVA Community Credit Union, you can access your personal and business accounts online. Sole proprietorships and single-member LLCs are eligible for a VISA CheckMate debit card with any of the credit union checking account products.
If you are already a member, it's easy to open a checking account.
If you are not already a member and your business is headquartered in our field of membership, you can open a business account at the credit union. You do not need to have a personal account at the credit union to open a business account.
Our deposit accounts are insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. government agency.
