Business Savings Accounts

Because every business is unique, we offer a variety of investment options as well as a complete range of competitive financing options for qualified businesses, including loans backed by the Small Business Administration. And you can manage your accounts online 24/7 through Online Banking, uniquely suited to the needs of a business.

Open a Business Share account and you'll automatically become a member of UVA Community Credit Union and you can take advantage of our other business services, including multiple business loans, investment guidance and much more. A UVA Community Credit Union Business Share Account makes good financial sense.

  • accounts opened with as little as $100
  • $5 one-time membership fee
  • no monthly service charges
  • dividends paid on balances greater than $300
  • five free monthly withdrawals ($2.50 for each additional withdrawal)
  • free online banking
With a Money Market account, your business will earn higher interest rates on savings, while still providing ready access to your money whenever you need it. It only takes a $5,000 minimum deposit to open a Business Money Market Account. You'll immediately begin earning dividends on your balance. The higher your balance, the higher interest rate you'll earn. Competitive interest rates and no-fee accounts (subject to minimum balance requirements and withdrawal limitations) means your money will continue to grow, free from fees that can erode your savings. UVA Community Credit Union Business Money Market account
  • $5,000 minimum monthly balance ($12 per month if balances fall below $5,000)
  • six withdrawals per month
  • minimum withdrawal of $100
  • excessive withdrawal fee of $5 per withdrawal

When you want a safe, secure investment option to supplement your Business Share Savings account, consider a UVA Community Credit Union Business Certificate account. Certificate accounts allow you to earn higher interest rates in exchange for committing your savings for a specific length of time. The longer the term of your certificate, the higher your rate of return (paid as dividends).

You can decide how often you'd like us to pay interest—monthly, quarterly, or at maturity, depending upon the term. Choose from repayment terms that range from three to 60 months. When each certificate term ends, we'll reinvest your savings into a new certificate for as long as you wish.

Certificates make it easy—and safe—to accumulate wealth for your business.

  • minimum deposits as low as $500 minimum balance to open account
  • all certificate funds are federally insured
  • choose certificates for personal or business savings
  • no monthly service charges
  • fixed rates
  • early withdrawal penalties apply
