Open a Deposit Account

Members can easily open checking and other deposit accounts at the Credit Union. If you're not a member, you only need to meet the membership requirements stated above to open a membership account. 

To open a checking or money market account:

• Complete the Business Membership Application
• Complete the appropriate W-8 form if Account Owner is not a U.S. person.
• Review the following documents:
  Availability of Funds
  EFT Disclosure
• If you are returning the completed application by mail:
  1. Have the authorized signatures on page 3 of the membership application notarized
  2. Complete and have notarized a Member Identity and Verification Card for any new authorized signer.  (You do not have to complete the form for anyone who is already listed as an authorized signer on the account.)
  3. Include a check for the checking account opening deposit.

• If you are bringing the completed application to a branch:
  1. Authorized signers who are not already listed on the account should either bring the identification documents specified on the Member Identity and Verification Card or, if they will not be present at the branch, they should have their signatures notarized on page 3 of the application and complete and have notarized the Member Identity and Verification Card
  2. Bring funds for the checking account opening deposit.
