Building a Stronger Community

At UVA Community Credit Union, we take our responsibility to promote the financial well being of our communities seriously. We offer a wide variety of free financial seminars for our members and the public at large.

Through our Community Partner Group Program, we partner with local employers and community organizations to offer financial education sessions, resources and tools to help improve the financial wellness of their team members. And each tax season we team up with the United Way of Greater Charlottesville to provide free tax preparation services to qualified taxpayer through the IRS's VITA program. 

An area of special interest is the financial education of young people. We are happy to visit area schools to help students learn more about money management, and young adults can practice their money management skills at one of our student-run branches. To further support our  students we are pleased to offer annual scholarships to local high school seniors within our field of membership.
