Helping Local Organizations Attract and Retain Great Employees

After retirement plans and health insurance, the employee benefit that is most widely appreciated is financial education. Finding a trusted source of financial information, however, can be difficult. That's why UVA Community Credit Union created the Community Partner Group program, which provides a variety of free financial benefits to local organizations.

As part of the Community Partner Group program, credit union representatives consult with human resources personnel at area businesses, academic institutions, and nonprofits. Working together, we develop a customized suite of financial benefit services. These services can include educational seminars on topics like budgeting, understanding credit, savings and investment planning, and fraud and security.

For employers our goal is to help enhance their employee benefits, reduce the costs associated with employee financial stress, and assist with their employer workplace readiness training programs. For employees, our objective is to encourage savings and maximize employee contributions to retirement plans.
