UVA Community Credit Union is an award winning financial institution with a simple mission to improve the financial wellness of the community we serve. If you are not a member and would like to join, or know of others who are interested in joining our Credit Union, we would love to have you.

3. Once your membership has been established you can participate in the Refer a Friend program.

How Refer a Friend it Works:

1. As a UVA Community Credit Union member, you can refer friends via email, Facebook, or Twitter by generating your personalized link.
2. When your friend joins and opens a Share Savings Account, you’ll receive $50* each.
3. You can earn up to $500 per calendar year.
4. Limited time offer! Refer friends by November 10, 2023.

*Only current UVA Community Credit Union (UVACCU) members ages 18 and older are eligible to refer and receive a total of $500 each calendar year. The referring member will receive $50 deposited in their Share Savings Account with a limit of 10 referrals (or $500) paid out per calendar year per member. A valid referral requires an individual who 1) meets the membership requirements to join UVACCU 2) is 18 years or older 3) joins and opens a Personal Share Savings Account which requires at least a $100 deposit by November 30, 2023 4) a minimum ongoing balance of $5 is required in a UVACCU Personal Share Savings Account and a one-time $5 membership fee may apply.
