UVA Community Credit Union Foundation Announces 2025 Grant Recipients

Charlottesville, VA, December 2, 2025: The UVA Community Credit Union Foundation is proud to announce its 2025 grant recipients, partnering with 19 exceptional nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life for members and local communities. This year’s initiative focuses on critical areas including children’s health, food stability, and affordable housing.
“From 39 applications, 19 organizations were selected based on their measurable impact and alignment with our community's most pressing needs,” said Janine Williams, Vice President of Credit Union Affairs at UVA Community Credit Union. “These grants represent our commitment to becoming part of the strategic architecture of our community's wellness efforts.”

By supporting these organizations, the Foundation aims to address foundational needs that enable individuals and families to thrive. “Together, we’re tackling the core challenges that affect everyday life in our community,” Williams added. “This is just the beginning! We look forward to sharing the impact of these grants in the coming months.”
