Rising Beyond: A Technology Upgrade to Serve You Better
A New Banking System, Built With you in Mind.
At UVA Community Credit Union, our commitment to rising beyond means continually improving how we serve you. This Labor Day weekend, we’ll be completing an important technology upgrade that supports many of our everyday banking services. While some service disruptions are expected during the transition, all systems are scheduled to be fully available on Tuesday, September 8.
As always, your security remains our top priority. We encourage you to stay vigilant and review our fraud prevention resources to help keep your accounts safe throughout the upgrade.
Why We're Upgrading
Strengthen the foundation that supports your financial life.
This technology upgrade will help us maintain a strong, secure infrastructure while allowing us to serve you more efficiently as we continue to grow. It positions us to support future enhancements to your banking experience, including easier new product development and faster rollout of new services and features. It also helps prepare us for future enhancements to Online and Mobile Banking, making it easier and more convenient for you to access the services you depend on every day.
Thank you for your patience—and for being part of a community that continues rising beyond, together.

Clear communication every step of the way.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more information to help you understand what to expect and how to prepare with minimal disruption to your day to day banking.
Be aware of common fraud tactics, including:
- Phishing emails and text messages claiming there are issues with your account or requesting you to "activate" or "verify" online banking access.
- Impersonation scams where fraudsters pretend to be UVA Community Credit Union employees and ask for account information, passwords, or security codes.
- Fraudulent phone calls claiming your debit card, account, or online banking access needs immediate attention.
How to protect yourself:
- Never share your online banking password, one-time verification codes, or security answers with anyone.
- Verify unexpected emails, texts, or phone calls before responding or clicking any links.
- Access online banking only through our official website, mobile app, or other trusted channels.
- Contact us directly if you receive a suspicious communication or have concerns about your account.
