UVA Community Credit Union Hires Branch Manager for New Harrisonburg Branch, Opening in September

Charlottesville, Virginia, July 10, 2025 — UVA Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Peifer as Branch Manager of its new full-service location opening in Harrisonburg this September. The branch, currently under construction at 210 University Blvd, will be the Credit Union’s 15th branch and marks a continued expansion of its long-standing commitment to serving the Harrisonburg community.

Peifer brings extensive experience in financial services and team leadership, with a hands-on management style and a commitment to consistent, reliable results. Known for his strong communication skills and principled approach, he has a proven track record in coaching staff, building strong member relationships, and driving growth through personalized service. He is excited to help open the new branch, welcome new and existing members, and support the Credit Union’s mission of working together to strengthen the financial wellness of our members and community.

The new Harrisonburg branch will offer a full range of personal and business accounts, deposit and loan products, and 24/7 access to digital banking services. Local experts, including a mortgage loan officer and elevate Small Business champion, will be available to assist members with their financial goals.
